'My Room. A Self Portrait' was part of a 6 month longitudinal study, which formed the basis of my Architectural Masters' Thesis. The aim was to monitor daily changes in an environment we live within, and understand how it can change in relation to emotional experience.
The project was inspired by Tracey Emin's installation piece 'My Bed' (1998), and Humanities Professor, Michael Allen Fox who suggests "as people change, interact, and major events occur, home evolves accordingly"
Fox, M. A. (2016).
